Volunteer Opportunities

The need for volunteers at Range View fluctuates throughout the school year.  There is often a need for crosswalk volunteers, lunchroom volunteers, and library volunteers.

How to Volunteer

To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we ask that all volunteers complete an application and background check that includes a search of the national criminal database, sex offender list, and terrorist watchlist. Once an account has been created and the application has been approved, you will be able to login and review volunteer opportunities at your selected schools. Volunteers must register and be approved prior to engaging in any volunteer activity. Once you are approved, an email will be sent to you notifying you of the approval and your user account information.

What is the difference between a visitor and a volunteer

Volunteers are involved on a more regular and ongoing basis and may be alone with students. Visitors typically do not work with students unsupervised and are not engaging with regular and ongoing volunteer activities. Visitors will be screened upon entry to any school buildings; we ask that all visitors provide a state issued ID at check in. The background check for visitors includes the sex offender list.

Range View values our volunteers! To help you have a successful experience volunteering, please review the following expectations. If you have any questions, please reach out to our school office staff.

Join the Range View Parent Group (RVP)

The Range View Parents, RVP, group coordinates or offers support to a variety of programs, fundraisers, and events that benefit the Range View school community.  RVP meets the second Tuesday of every month, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., in the Range View Library.
